The images above were taken at the house that I grew up in Jackson, MS, and in the greater Belhaven area. While these locations are home to some of my fondest memories, they are also where the most painful events in my life have occurred. I wanted to mirror the degradation of my family unit's bonds in the dilapidated nature of the city.
The images above are taken at my parent's new home located in Ocean Springs, MS. This house represents an optimistic future. During the time in which we have had this house, my family has turned over a new leaf and experienced a lot of healing and growth. This place represents a second chance for my family.
